About Naresh Butti

I was born 33 years ago in a beautiful village in Telangana, India. Growing up, I was captivated by 2D animated shows like Mickey Mouse and Aladdin, and movies like Jurassic Park, which sparked a passion for animation at a very young age.

As a teenager, my curiosity about CG animation only grew stronger. Determined to pursue this path, I completed a Diploma in Animation Filmmaking.

In 2011, I began my professional journey at Pixel Fx Animation Studio as a Junior CG Animator, working on VFX and CG for local movies. Over time, I transitioned from domestic to international projects at Discreet Art Production, which opened up exciting opportunities. In 2016, I joined Technicolor, where I had the privilege of working with global giants like Disney and Nickelodeon. These experiences helped me grow into a Senior Animator and even lead animation teams.

Currently, I continue my work as a Senior Animator while exploring AI-driven filmmaking. With my background in 3D animation production, I've also started developing Python tools for Maya—small yet impactful tools that enhance animation workflow efficiency.

I thrive on new challenges and enjoy working on projects where I can apply my experience. Life has thrown many challenges my way, but I’ve always faced them head-on, constantly learning and growing.

My Animation Journey
